Gently Used Moves is a New York City based non profit organization that redistributes slightly used performing arts clothing, shoes, and costumes to those in underserved areas.
How do I donate?
If you are interested in having a donation drive at your school or place of business, please email gentlyusedmoves@gmail.com. We will gladly come and facilitate donations.
For individual donations please email gentlyusedmoves@gmail.com.
Please make sure donated items do not have:
- Excessive tears or rips.
- Missing pieces: missing straps, broken zippers, missing buttons, or anything else that affects wearability.
- Holes in tights, mesh, or stretch fabric.
- Shoes with torn soles.
- Logos or names that violate costume licensing.
- Loose elastic: waistbands, straps, or leg lines that have lost stretch.
